Pleasure Activism

A panel discussion from the School of Media and Communication,
London College of Fashion.

Inspired by Adrienne Maree Brown’s ‘Pleasure Activism: The Politics
of Feeling Good’, this discussion explores how pleasure can be used
for embodied actionable change and innovate new possibilities for
creativity and collaboration. During this discussion industry panellists
explore new understandings of ‘activism’, agency and creative
expression and the pleasures that come from personal and collective
growth.

Speakers:
Rani Patel Williams, creative industry leader and entrepreneur.
Wilson Oryema, artist, writer, and entrepreneur.
Delali Ayivi, LCF graduate, photographer and art director.

The panel is moderated by Shanu Walpita,
strategic futures director and LCF lecturer.
